Feasts Section

This section is dedicated to building a collection of melodies for the 12 major feasts and other liturgical celebrations throughout the year. 

It includes settings for the fixed feasts such as Christmas, the Annunciation, Theophany, the feasts of the Theotokos, and other celebrations observed on set dates.

It also includes melodies for the movable feasts and seasons connected with the Paschal cycle, including Great Lent, Holy Week, Pascha, and the post-Paschal period.

The chants are presented in two formats: standard notation (simplified Obikhod style, with melody and ison only) and pointed notation (see the Digital Pointed Notation Guide).

The section is being developed gradually, with new collections added as they are notated and prepared for publication. Announcements about new additions to the Feasts are posted below.
